ps: Mel, the clock on Friday 5 has always been set to Greenwich Mean Time. When I first started this, it was an anonymous experiment. I wanted to see how long it would take before my blogging acquaintances started doing it (answer: a few months), and I didn’t want anyone to know it was me, so using the Hawaii clock was out of the question. 🙂 Plus, I wanted to be inclusive: available on Friday wherever it was Friday. Of course this doesn’t mean (as everyone who participates knows) responses must be posted Friday. I just wanted the questions available Friday.
